Zipper debate: Front zip, back zip, or neck-entry for catsuits and dresses?

Every closure method has its own pros and cons, but everyone seems to have a strict personal preference:

  • Front Zip: Super practical, easy to put on solo, but breaks the sleek visual line down the front.
  • Back Zip: Looks incredible in photos, but requires insane flexibility (or a helpful partner) to close.
  • Neck Entry: Zero zipper stiffness, feels amazing like a true second skin... but getting in feels like a 20-minute cardio workout.

Which one do you prefer for your gear, and which one do you avoid at all costs?

Anyone else love this all-black latex style?

The catsuit, gloves and corset work so well together. Do you like this kind of fully coordinated latex look, or is it a bit too much?

Quick Tip: Why you should never store your latex zipped up

If you want to prolong the lifespan of your favorite gear, here is a golden rule for your post-wash storage routine: always leave the zippers completely open.

It might seem neater to zip everything up before hanging it away, but keeping them closed is a silent killer for your rubber:

  • Permanent Imprints: Over months of storage, the hard metal or plastic teeth of a closed zipper press tightly against the folded latex, leaving permanent, ugly indents in the material.
  • The Tear Risk: Closed zippers put constant, subtle tension on the seams around the base. When the latex naturally shifts or hangs, that localized stress can easily cause micro-tears.
  • Trapped Moisture: If there is even a tiny drop of dampness left after washing, a closed zipper locks it into the fabric backing, inviting mold or rust.

Save yourself an expensive repair bill, unzip every single track before your gear goes into the closet!

My bathroom is officially a friction-free hazard zone after last night 🧴😭

Hey everyone, I think I just experienced a mandatory rite of passage in the latex community, and my lower back is currently paying the price.

I was getting ready for a party last night and decided to be generous with the silicone dressing aid. I was using a spray bottle to get into a tight pair of leggings. Everything went smoothly until I stepped off my bath mat directly onto the polished bathroom floor tiles with my freshly lubed feet.

I swear, the laws of physics ceased to exist in that room.

Suddenly, I was doing involuntary, high-speed gymnastics. Trying to regain your balance on a slippery tile floor while your legs are encased in restrictive rubber is a special kind of panic. I looked like a cartoon character slipping on a banana peel, waving my arms frantically while trying desperately not to rip my new leggings or smash my face into the sink.

I managed to survive without breaking any bones or tearing the rubber, but the real nightmare started afterward. I tried to mop the floor with normal dish soap and warm water. Big mistake. It just spread the silicone around. Now my bathroom is a permanent ice rink. Walking in there to brush my teeth this morning required the focus of an Olympic athlete.

Please tell me I’m not the only one who has turned their bathroom into a slip-and-slide?
