how do people who get distracted in 30 seconds actually build a meditation habit
I(36M). tried meditation apps on and off for the last few years. headspace, calm, an unguided timer this summer. every single time the same thing. i sit down, close my eyes, im planning dinner within a minute. then i realize, come back, ten seconds later im gone again.
i know the line about "noticing youve drifted is the practice." i get it on paper. in the moment it still feels like failing forty times in ten minutes.
what kept you going past this part. or did you switch to a different practice entirely
