My wife and I filed jointly for the first time this year and didn’t track our donations last year. This year we have tracked our donations thus far (all goods donations to local shelters). We weren’t even close to it being better to itemize when we filed this year (standard got us back like $6k more than itemized would’ve).

From what I’ve read online, there seems to be no benefit of us tracking our donations (probably in the $500-$1k range) since it won’t have any tax implications, but just wanted to verify before we stopped tracking

We're looking at booking a trip to Seville in November and are interested in staying in the Thompson Seville which is opening in Q3, but we're worried what would happen if the opening is delayed.

Does anyone have experience booking a Hyatt that didn't end up opening in time for their reservation? Did you get rebooked somewhere or a free stay?

Edit: I hadn’t seen the Rome stuff. We are planning on booking a backup, was more just interested if they were giving compensation
