Going to college this year and used my mother's teacher id for discount as not yet 18 years old

3 year ADP for~ 3300

I have an old laptop but it doesn't turn on and has gone multiple third party repairs, can I still exchange it??

Or is there another laptop in same price range which is better? Prefer oled
