So I want to start dating now and I am fine being the one doing the asking out thing. So guys how do you prefer to be approached?

Should a girl make friends with you first and then ask you out?

Or should she directly come up to you, tell you that you’re cute and ask you out?

Is there anything I should avoid doing?

I need some tips and advice on asking guys out or at least on how to show guys I am interested in them.

Also some guy friends told me that if I directly approach a guy and tell him he’s cute he might get an ego over it and think I am desperate or easy to get and instead I should try being friends first and then try hinting I am interested. Is that true? Or not?
