How can I get a man to leave me alone?
I f 30 started a new job last month and since the first day I’ve noticed special attention from a specific male co worker. For the first week and a half he increasingly became more flirtatious with me and although I didn’t outwardly flirt back I also didn’t stop him from flirting with me. Tension began to build and I figured I’d do some investigating to make sure he was single. He never brought up a girlfriend or wife and he also doesn’t wear a wedding ring.
I snooped online and found his fb account last updated In 2020 with one picture of him and his wife (both were wearing rings) then I found her account last updated a year ago more pictures of them and their two kids plus her relationship status says they’re married! So naturally when Monday rolls around he’s at my desk first thing in the morning. I check again for a ring and nothing. I immediately halt any sort of filtration to a stop by keeping the convo short, being brief, avoiding eye contact and avoiding him all together. This man has continued to try and get my attention no matter what I do.
He passes by my desk and says things under his breath directed at me (I’m the only one there it’s a lobby and I’m front desk literally no one else in sight) he’s gone as far to say things in Spanish under his breath to me mind you he is white and doesn’t know Spanish lol. Today I unknowingly met one of his family members that works there and after our interaction I am told by someone that they’re related. A few moments later he pops out of nowhere and gives me a look like his family member knows about me… it was bizarre. He was going into the bathroom but passed by my desk and if looks could kill I’d be dead now my manager saw him and asked if he was ok to which he didn’t answer and went into the bathroom and slammed the door.
Then he came out and went elsewhere not acknowledging the manager. Then before going home he goes and talks to the manager and right as he exited the door he whispered something under his breath in Spanish. Idk what he wants idk why he keeps on doing this and idk how he doesn’t put two and two together that I know he’s taken! Can someone give me advice on how I can get him to leave me ALONE?!
