Alternator not producing power
Hey guys I have a 2008 gmc Acadia and I cannot figure out why my cars alternator isint producing power. It’s a new alternator and I even took it to a local shop that rebuilds alternators and starters to have it checked out and it’s good. I tested the inline fuse connected to the alternator and it’s good. I noticed the wiring harness that plugs into the alternator had a broken wire (pictured below) so I replaced and that still didn’t fix my issue. I have no idea what’s going on with the car or how to fix it. I charge up the battery and the car dies shortly after because the alternator isint doing anything. Help please?!
