Multiple Luminaries & different Cast Roles?

So the topic came up of what RAW/RAI would be for parties with multiple Luminaries, each assigning different Cast Roles on different characters/creatures.

RAW, I think the Cast Role action simply overwrites whatever the last assigned role was, regardless of who was the original Cast Role-er. Another person thought the different Roles would stick but not stack per ce, with a different role getting activated depending on which Luminary assigned each role and then put a spotlight on the character/creature.

What's the more correct logic here?

How to calculate DC on Perform for Lead Actor?

Piggybacking off the post about Luminary's Lead Actor spell - how would a GM calculate the DC on a Perform roll? Level DC of the character performing, or level DC of the target(s)? Perhaps the Will DC of the target(s)? What's closest to RAW or RAI?

What are the rules for reviving/repairing downed minibots?

So now we have minibots, already finalized for Tech Core, but being introduced now in the Luminary playtest. What are the rules for repairing or receiving downed 'bots? I don't want my Luminary's 100 credit camerabot to turn into trash after combat 😬

For what it's worth, they'll have the minion, minibot, construct, robot and tech traits apparently.

Starting Part 1 with incomplete records?

My (now deceased) adopted mother was born in Ontario in the 1930s and came to America as a teenager in the 1940s. As far as I know, she never renounced her Canadian citizenship, so I believe I qualify for Canadian citizenship under the new laws. I'm eager to get started on the paperwork, but looking at the document checklists, I think I'm going to hit a few snags. Should I wait until they're all resolved before submitting Part 1?

  1. In Part 1's Confirmation of Canadian Citizenship of the Adoptive Parent(s) (CIT 0010), it's explicitly asking the date when my mom's dual citizenship was attained outside of Canada. I know she eventually became a United States citizen sometime before I was born, but I have no clue when that happened, or even how to find that out. Do I need to find that date, or would a written "unknown" suffice?
  2. Also on CIT 0010, it's asking for my name at birth. I'm aware that my biological parents gave me another name at birth (for those few hours/days/whatever it was before my adoption was finalized), but I don't currently have any paperwork to verify that or back that up. Would I need to verify my birth name before proceeding with Part 1?
  3. Likewise, Part 2 explicitly asks for the Final Adoption Order, Adoption Judgement, or Adoption Certificate, as well as a birth certificate showing the names of my biological parents - documents of which I have none of and apparently would require a court order to unseal in my state of California. Although not required for Part 1, I suspect that it's going to take a while to get. Should I get started now on all that, or wait until I'm getting started on Part 2?

Thanks for everyone's advice in advance!

So I was looking at a awesome Foundry module that can generate solar system and other sci-fi maps ( https://www.reddit.com/r/FoundryVTT/comments/1t3kq7a/system\_agnostic\_sector\_maps\_star\_system\_previews/ ), which got me thinking: which Starfinder solar systems do we know the most about, planet- and map-wise? I know the Pact Worlds are pretty well mapped out, but what about others? What systems can I have the most fun mapping out for my players and letting them explore? 😁

From the Free RPG Day website:

Starfinder Free RPG Day Adventure: Rescue on Raxil

> When a greedy biotech corporation threatens to destroy a planet’s ecosystems and harm an endangered species, a squad of protectors known as Xenowardens deploys to stop them in Rescue on Raxil!

> This short adventure for 3rd-level characters puts players in the role of five guardians of nature: Stitchvine RS the mystic, Kahalara the envoy, Takkar the operative, Raluraz the witchwarper, and Xyzexius the solarian! Each character comes with complete pregenerated stats and roleplaying tips for the adventure—and they’ll need to unleash their combined powers to save the planet and the adorable endangered aliens from a sinister corporate scheme!

I wasn't expecting Xenowardens, and pregens for every class except soldier is an interesting choice, but overall seems like a solid lil' adventure. Looking forward to running it on June 27th!

EDIT, more details from Warhorn: > Organized Play: This adventure will provide one scenario's worth of credit for any SFS2 character. Use of the included pregenerated characters is strongly encouraged, but players may bring their own characters.
