Hey everyone,

I’m trying to decide between the Pixel 8 Pro and the base model Pixel 9. My main priority is longevity. I plan to keep whichever phone I get for the next 4 to 5 years.

For those who’ve used either (or both), what has your experience been like in terms of battery health, performance over time, updates, and general durability? Any insight on thermals, display issues, or slowdowns would be super helpful.

Given my timeline, which one would you recommend and why?
I generally thought about nothing 4a pro (hard to repair) and oneplus 15r(Internet mentions battery issues and i want gemini features)
