Too realistic of a nightmare
Last night I had a nightmare that was along the reality of how this world could be if nothing changes—and disclaimer that the last few days I’ve seen a lot of things online that have made my mind a dark place, and I’ve been struggling with anxiety surrounding it. I’ve deleted and stay off of social media for mental health for the most part, but had relapsed a bit into going on (mainly because I moved so I’be been reaching out to online friends and going on marketplace and such and just get carried away.)
I dreamt that the world was full of smoke and fire, the sky was a hazy black, purple, and red. There were giant droid flock cameras walking around like we were in Star Wars or something, I was back in the town I used to live in. The traffic was awful, and the droids were everywhere, watching, waiting, and no one acted like it was a big deal, yet you could feel the terror. We were driving home, but got to a bridge that started to collapse with flames so our path back was destroyed. At that point I think I finally woke up, but it made me sad, and worried about the direction we’re headed…
