After having a hard time being able to order through the Mattel website because of a glitch in their system, I was finally able to order my Demon Jinu doll! I’m so excited! Now I just have to find a way to get all the others because they’re sold out on the Mattel site and everywhere near me as well. I can’t wait for him to arrive! I really hope they release another Rumi doll with her patterns all over so I can put them side by side.

Alright, everyone, take your positions at the starting lines, because the race is about to start! This is the official announcement I promised all of you! Many of you have been waiting patiently for a while, and your patience is about to be rewarded!

I’ve managed to gather 875 K-Pop Demon Hunter Cards to share with all of you! This giveaway will run from July 1st at 12:00 am EDT to July 11th at 11:59 pm EDT. During that time, you can fill out a simple Google Form and be entered into a drawing for a rare card. You can also submit another simple Google Form to snag yourself a common card, which will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis. You CANNOT fill out the form before the giveaway begins, and you CANNOT submit a form after the giveaway ends.

Edit: a few people asked me to put a QR code where they could donate to international shipping costs. I’ll put that code in the comments and anyone who feels inclined and would like to help with shipping costs can send their donations there. I really appreciate it 😁 but honestly, if you’re financially strapped and helping isn’t possible, that’s ok. I promise I’m still going to mail out each and every card.

EDIT: for anyone who missed it and is confused, here is a link to the test run I did where anyone can fill out the form with random answers as a TEST RUN ONLY just to see how the form will work. The giveaway and raffle forms are EXACTLY like the test forms.

EDIT: I promise guys, last edit. I really wanted to make sure everyone walked away from the giveaway a winner, so I reached out to a local Etsy shop and the owner is a fellow fan! She decided to try something new and you guys will all benefit! So, thanks to Sunshine Co. Custom Designs, everyone who enters for either the rare or the common card giveaway will get a prize for each giveaway they entered even if they don’t win a card. Prizes will be mailed out in purple bubble mailers for anyone who didn’t win a card. For those who did get a card, your prize will be mailed with your card in your gold or holographic bubble mailers.

Scalpers are terrible. They’re absolutely ruthless! I mean, they grab everything, I mean completely clear shelves at all the stores near me, then they hike up the price so they can turn a profit. It’s sickening and it really sucks for everyone else who just wants to get something nice (maybe for themselves or for someone they love for Christmas).

I have a really big family and with that comes lots of nieces who are all obsessed with K-Pop Demon Hunters just like me, and with a lot of their birthdays coming up, I wanted to get each girl their favorite doll (and get myself the whole 3 set 😉) but they’re out of stock EVERYWHERE. So, I do what any normal person does, and I start searching through the depths of the internet hoping to get lucky.

Lo and behold, I find the dolls listed for obvious resale at ridiculous pricing while it’s out of stock and EVERY regular retailer. It’s truly upsetting because unless you’ve got a fair bit of expendable cash, getting the set of Huntr/x just went from regular sale price of between $27 and $33 to no less than $60.

Sorry, rant over. I’m just upset about it the whole situation especially since I can’t order direct from Mattel because you need a membership to do so and they don’t sell memberships. You had to luck into one by buying their original Golden doll trio of Huntr/x. Mattel really messed up by not letting the dolls be available to everyone and/or not selling memberships (but that’s a whole other rant.)

TLDR: SCALPERS ARE RUTHLESS AND RUIN EVERYTHING!

Hey guys! As we get closer to the giveaway, I’m in need of all of your help! If you have a few minutes, I need a bunch of you to go to the test run of my Google forms and Google sheets for the common card giveaway and the rare card lottery. I need to be sure everything will work perfectly, but in order to do that, I’ll need a bunch of data/submissions to work with.

Don’t worry about filling everything out seriously or with any real information. Remember, this isn’t the start of the giveaway yet, this is JUST A TEST RUN.

To anyone with a minute or 2 that can fill out the form for the test run, I really appreciate it. Once I know the forms and sheets are working properly, I’ll announce an EXACT DATE for the start of the giveaway.

EDIT: Thank you! With all your help, I was able to find a few errors in my Google Sheets formulas and fix them so they generate properly. Yay! Now I just have one or 2 more fixes, a bit of polishing, and another 283 cards en route to my house to catalogue and we’re a go for this giveaway! Yay! First off, let me start by saying I have not forgotten my promise to you guys to hold a huge giveaway. I haven’t forgotten you at all. Actually, I’ve been trying to (and succeeding) in getting my hands on tons of cards for everyone! Yay! As a result, I’ve actually got quite a few rare ones up for grabs as well!

I didn’t want to make the rare ones first come first serve as that isn’t exactly fair, so I was wracking my brain on what to do to make it fair for everyone when I got this brilliant idea from one of our very own on here (shout out to u/Tiny-Tangerine2847). She came up with this great system using Google Sheets where everyone will be able to enter into drawings for the rare cards.

I’ll have 3 forms set up (one for each rare card). Everyone can fill out a form for whatever card they want to be entered into the drawing for. Then Google will randomly select people from that list in accordance with the number of that card I have available! You’ll only be able to enter once for each card as only your latest submission will count. I’ll let everyone know when I have this perfectly set up and working and when I announce the beginning of the giveaway, I’ll add those links to the forms as well.

In the mean time, I ask that everyone please continue to be patient and don’t lose faith in me because I promise I’m working hard to grab as many of these cards as possible to share with all of you 😁

Update: I finally got the Google forms and sheets to work! Yay! So far, there will be 38 rare cards up for grabs. I’ll let you know more when I have final count. For regular cards, there will be around 50 HuntrX and 450 Saja Boys. I think it’s safe to say, I went a little boy crazy 🤪

Since there will be so many regular cards up for grabs, I’ll set up a separate Google forms & sheets set for those cards and it’ll still be first come first serve with a 2 card limit imposed on regular cards for the first round of the giveaway so that as many people as possible have a chance to grab SOMETHING 😁

Edit: before I said there would be 3 forms, I lied. Besides, no one likes filling out forms! Jk. That’s not actually the reason, although it’s completely true. The real reason is that I just had no clue what I was doing before Tiny’s help and thought I’d need separate forms for each rare card, but thanks to her, we’re down to 1 form for the rare cards and it allows you to pick multiple options and there will be a separate form for the regular cards which will also allow you to pick multiple options! (The forms will be the same except the card options just to make my life easier 🤣)

FINAL UPDATE ( I promise? 🤞🏾): I’ve got all the cards I could and they’re on their way! 🎉 I’m hoping to launch the giveaway at the beginning of July! Let’s all hope USPS delivers on time so I can get everything ready by then 🥴🫠 I’ve got plenty of stamps, shiny GOLDEN 😉 bubble mailers, a system that works, TONS of cards (either already with me or on the way in the mail), and lots of caffeine. Hopefully I didn’t forget anything 😵‍💫 You guys would tell me if I forgot something, Right? 😱
