I’m planning to buy an apartment in Wrocław from a developer this summer and trying to estimate the budget for finishing it. The numbers I’ve heard so far vary quite a lot.

Could anyone who has recently renovated or finished an apartment share how much they spent per square meter? It would be great if you could also break it down (e.g. interior finishing, electrical work, kitchen, furniture, etc.).

I’ve also come across companies offering turnkey finishing services — is it worth using them?

Any tips on how to reduce renovation costs would also be greatly appreciated.

I have been living in Wroclaw for almost a year now. One thing that puzzles me a lot about the city is the architecture outside of the city center. Some buildings in the city look bizarre and out of place, as if there were sketched by a child.

Maybe someone can explain why the design of some of the buildings so weird?
