How long are Negan and the Saviors the main focus?

I'm watching TWD for the first time and I've gotten to s7 e4. Honestly, >!after Glenn and Abraham's death, seeing Rick and Darryl be so humiliated, their camp raided!<... all that stuff. It has been a bit demoralizing and I'm not sure if I want to continue.

According to google the Saviors remain a problem until s8e16 but my question is, and I did try to search this, how many episodes between s7e4 and s8e16 are they the main focus?

It's like when the Wolves were a problem we still had episodes about the herd. When the Governor was a problem we still got to see scenes not related to the Governor in the prison. It seems like every minute of the show, right now, is just Savior stuff and it's awful to watch. I don't think I can do another season and a half of this.

I have a very stoic dog. I am not the only person to say this. He never cried when he was teething. He doesn't seem bothered by pain, even when he is limping. When he hurt his knee, he did not even stop playing. I went to get him for dinner and he was just limping while chasing birds in the backyard.

He's not an outside dog, I just leave the back door open from sunrise to sunset unless we're out for a walk or dog park trip. This one specifically prefers being out in the yard where he can spy on the neighborhood squirrels.

My question is...

He had his TPLO on the 6th. It is now the 29th. We have long since finished the caprofen but we still have gabapentin. Do I continue giving him pain medicine? I authentically do not know when he is in pain so I've just been doing gabapentin twice a day just in case.

According to the website, the veterinarian sent me about TPLO follow up and at home care, he is progressing normally. He's putting some weight on it. He stands on all 4 legs and, when he starts walking, he puts weight on that leg before he pulls it up.

And, yes, he's lost his unsupervised outdoor time. I've been sitting outside with him so he can spy on the squirrels from the safety of a short leash and a human who can't afford a second surgery.
