left is the suspected sick fish, right is the other pleco i have

it is a family tank and i dont usually do maintenance on the tank. i come back home today and i saw a few cichlids (i think) lose sense of direction and keep rolling all around, and few were dead, so we changed the water and added methylene blue and salt as treatment.

we added ~0.5g/L as i heard scaleless fish are more sensitive to salt. after i notice a lot of the fishes are flashing, rubbing on the rock, and the pleco started flashing around and i saw the unusual white dots on the pleco, i dont see the white dots on the other fish though

i suspect that the pleco has the most ich on and it infected some other fish too, but is this really ich? the other pleco in our other tank also have these tiny spot on but i think they look nothing like this

and if it is, what should i do immediately now

i cant believe i spent all my time on learning such unreliable tool. i would switch to other constructive solid geometry CAD if there is one with clean UI, not to mention they just changed the property UI and i hate it
