Swapped my 2017 iMac from Fusion Drive to SSD and as always with these I’m completely blown away. I used this at work for 8 years and wish I was allowed to do this much sooner when I was actually using this thing every day. Opened every application simultaneously with no beach ball in a couple minutes.

This will be serving as the most overpowered garage computer I could possibly imagine. I did layout on this for about 400 issues of a newspaper and it was an absolute workhorse, but it was too risky to tear into. Now that the drive swap is done I can do very important things like get mad that I didn’t just take this home and secretly do this
