When I start the game it creates a very loud buzzing sound that does not stop until I shut down the game.

Dawn of war Definitive edition.

playing on Linux (Nobara) tried with and without proton. also different proton versions.

Also tried with and without mods but no dice.

This wasn't an issue before and it does not always happen, but often enough to make me not want to start up the game.
