Beginner - started in March

Sliced lemon study

I've been painting still life to practice values etc and was getting tired and discouraged... This was refreshing!

Some areas could be less uniform in colors and shapes but I'm happy with this overall.

I've worked on it for over a week.. I'm sick of looking at it and can't objectively tell if it's got a good thing going or what lol but called it done.

What do you think? I started painting in March, struggling with blending, color theory and values.
