Random question for the group. Recently purchased a riverside arms 520. I’d assume it was made between 1928-1932. Functions flawlessly except when you hit the slide release button it will work the bolt back but binds moving forward and gets hung. Based on photos I see online it seems the spring has lost some of its shape but isn’t broken. I ordered a new slide release spring.

My question is that I’m finding this slide bridge spring online and not seeing it on my gun anywhere. Does anywhere know where this spring goes so that I can confirm it’s in working order? I’m dumbfounded. I have the gun stripped and I don’t see this spring anywhere or a spot for it to go.
