My 6 week journey

I’m 19 years old and a pretty healthy guy, I am a college athlete.

Here’s my timeline:
4 months ago -tonsilitis and perintonsillar abscess, no sign of strep or staph, got it drained but it occasionally swells again but goes away on its own on the right side(don’t know if this ties in or not)

3 months ago- I was in a chair and I stretched my back normally but felt this intense pain and achiness afterwards, it went away after a day

2.5 months ago- Really bad constipation started out of nowhere and I developed an anal fissure (which I didn’t know what it was at the time)

2 months ago- Stretched my erect penis downwards, went to sleep with no idea I did something. Woke up the next morning with the penis feeling loose and disconnected. I was so confused. Refrained from sexual activity for a week. Had some light swelling pain for about 3 days. Once it went away I tried masterbating and it felt fine other than I could subtly feel a nerve in my penis but don’t think it was anything serious. except when semi-erect it would curve downwards one inch from the base also my flaccid looked longer which I thought was cool.

6 weeks ago- My erections seemed weaker now so I was frustrated and with my erection I was on my side and I squeezed. My erection went away immediately and I knew I fucked up. After this, I woke up with extremely retracted hard flaccid like it was bad lmao.

5 weeks ago- nothing was changing with rest this time so I began to panic heavily, like it was bad and I couldn’t kegel at all it was like a little stub.

4 weeks ago- Doctors visits and improvements and observations Listed below

Doctor visits and results: Urologist visit- Just like most of yall he just brushed me off

CT Scan of pelvis and lower spine with contrast- No abnormalities other than excess stool in colon and the fact that my hip flexor avulsion fracture never reattached to the bone from 2 years ago which is common

Physician at hemeroid clinic- anterior Anal fissure and 5 internal hemeroids

Urine test came back fine

Pelvic floor therapist- diagnosed me with hypertonic pelvic floor and dysfunction

Improvements:
-Penis is no longer constantly retracted during the day yet is still internally firm a bit a and not fully soft and squishy
I am able to get erections easily with full firmness, but sensation is very dulled
- No more tingling when I spread my legs open
- No more sharp pain when pooping, or sharp pain in asshole while doing stretches

Observations:
- penis is baseline normal when I have to pee and during peeing
- Had some urinary urgency a week ago which went away after a couple days
- Dealing with some lower back tingling and burning sensation very occasionally which came in the last two days
- Pooping with stools that are a little firm cause me to have to strain a lot to get it out which I’m trying to avoid
- I don’t feel like I get all the pee out or poop out
- I’ve had nocturnal erections since the start and had a couple wet dreams ( hopefully I didn’t piss myself lol)
- penis can still point upwards when I do get fully erect, but curves downwards still when partially erect
- my left nut is hyperactive and retracts with everything
- when I stick my pelvis out and do a deep breath my penis goes back to squishy state too
- dorsal vein is prominent when erect and in normal soft state
What has helped:
-Classic pelvic floor stretches: these used to feel extremely tight and I could feel like a peeling sensation while doing them)
- reverse kegels: were impossible to do at start but now when I do them my penis goes full squish
- warm baths
- sleeping with pillow under knees
- Not thinking about it during the day( this is so hard, I’m still terrible at this part)
- hip flexor stretches
- tucking penis upwards in underwear?
- I just have begun fish oil, magnesium, bvitamin C supplements
What’s Next:
Im thinking of getting an mri of the spine and pelvis but our healthcare system is terrible and im a broke college student so we will see. Also looking into penile ligament surgery but the uro said that I will heal on my own in a few months but idk man. Personally, I will try to start massaging perinium nightly as well as the lower abdomen, fix my anterior pelvic tilt, get abs and glutes stronger, fascia release/ nervous system release, incorporate my normal cardio exercises again and begin pelvic floor pt, learn how to help the dorsal vein soften, hopefully let time do its thing as well. Also learn more about pelvic area in general including that I may have compressed the already irritated nerve in may alcocks canal.

Any suggestions will help!

Good luck to everyone! Life finds a way!
