Is there a game genre that normally you don't like but VR changed that?

For example, VR can enhance a genre or a game that you already like or love, Half Life 2, Crysis, Far Cry. It's amazing.

But for me, it made me played games that I dot normally play. For example, I played 45 hours of Into The Radius until I've finished it. Game is a Stalker like. I've never liked that kind of thin, go search ressources, come back, do some missions. But in VR it was something else.

And right now, I'm playing Subnautica, for the first time in VR with the Submersed mod, going blindly, never seen a single gameplay.

Again, normally I don't like that type of games, I get bored quickly, go fetched this, come back, craft. At least there's some story and stuff happens apparently, I'm at the beginning. But in VR it is something else. I'm immersed that thing, I'm having fun being in the water.

What about you, is there any type of game that normally you don't play but in VR, suddenly it's fun?
