A kid at the laundromat gave me way too much confidence

I was folding towels at the laundromat, badly but with confidence, when a little kid looked over and said, “You fold those like a hotel.”

His mom laughed and apologized, but I’ve been living off that compliment all day. I walked home like I’d just been promoted in the towel department.

I miss when hobbies didn’t have to become side hustles

I miss when hobbies were allowed to stay pointless. Now everything has to become content, a side hustle, a routine, or some weird form of self-improvement. Sometimes I just want to enjoy something badly, quietly, and for no reason at all.

An old lady at the grocery store made me laugh for no reason

Today an older lady at the grocery store smiled at me and said, “You look like someone who knows how to pick good bananas.” I have no idea what that means, but I’ve been weirdly happy about it all day. What’s the most random compliment you’ve ever gotten?

I miss being a kid sometimes

Sometimes I don’t miss childhood itself, I miss not knowing how heavy life could get. A random song, a smell, or an old photo can suddenly make me feel homesick for a version of life I didn’t realize I was leaving.

I’m so tired of women having to defend choices about bodies we live in every day. Clothes, hair, birth control, pregnancy, sex—everyone has an opinion. But our bodies are not public property, not a family vote, not a man’s comfort. They are ours. That should be enough.

Trump sold weakness as strength: whining as courage, cruelty as patriotism, and grift as leadership. MAGA didn’t just excuse it; they worshipped it. The sickest part is watching people wave flags while cheering for the man hollowing out the country.

Trump didn’t make America stronger. He made cruelty feel patriotic, lies feel brave, and shame look optional. The worst part isn’t that he showed us who he is. It’s that millions saw it and finally felt represented.

Trump’s worst damage wasn’t just the lies, scandals, or victim act. It was making cruelty feel normal, mocking basic decency as weakness, and dressing selfishness up as patriotism. How do you rebuild a country when millions decided cruelty wasn’t a dealbreaker?

Iran executes protesters because it can’t win an argument with them. The gallows are not really for the two men. They are for every young Iranian still thinking about going into the street. This is not justice. It is the regime admitting words no longer work.

Calling internet blackouts “security” is the lie. Security for who? Not the student who can’t message family. Not the shop owner who loses income. Not the protester who disappears offline. A regime that fears phones and videos is not protecting Iran. It is hiding from Iranians.

They’re scared of teachers now?

Iran should be proud of its teachers. Instead, the regime arrests union leaders and sentences educators like they are criminals. If a classroom is a threat to your power, maybe your power was never legitimate.

Every blocked app is a reminder: the regime is terrified of its own people. They stole the money, the future, the internet, and even basic joy — then call it morality. Iran doesn’t need more control. Iran needs its life back.

Iran's internet is a hostage crisis. The regime builds the cage, while local scalpers bleed us dry, rationing 1GB at a time. Paying a fortune for a 30GB lifeline that dies in days is extortion! Stop feeding vultures. We need tech built for resistance, not profit.
