Stove Top connection burnt out.
Looking for some advice on how to possibly repair this on my own.
Was cooking with four burners on. Looks although the red wire fried.
Previous home owner did a lot of their own work and took a lot of short cuts.
I know I may need some better photos so please let me know if that’s the case.
Could this be as simple as
-cutting back the wire to clean un damaged wire/copper
- reconnecting with new wire nuts?
I’ve done several ceiling fans and this appears to be pretty similar but would love some advice before I make any mistakes.

Anyone else create stud players for their franchise?
Playing the CPU can be too easy so every franchise I create a few monsters early on to play against.
One of the ones I always make is Brick Johnson.
Absolute monster. (I did pick him up in year 11 for fun)
Speed, accel and agility all 95.
Anyone else do this and who do you create?
