What does Plano add .5 mean? I was just prescribed a light prescription for headaches/eye strain… could I have just gotten readers?

I called the store to see if I could speak to hiring manger for the in store shopper position once last week and again this week. When I called I pressed speak to a team member then grocery. Both times the person on the line lowkey refused to transfer me saying “they’re just going to tell you we hire through ai” and the other guy just took down my number. Is this true?/ Is there another way I should call to reach them. It’s been almost two weeks since I applied.

I applied to an in store shopper position with availability most days of the week. Got a denial the next day. I reapplied to that and a cashier position with open availability and I haven’t heard back. It’s been almost a full week. This is a store in a major city if that adds any context. Do I go in person or call and ask?

I’ve applied to so many places and every time I’ve interviewed for a server position I’ve been told that I need 2 years experience even at the Chili’s. Does anyone know a place that will hire without experience? Thanks!
