What does this mean?
Has this ever happened to anyone else? How long does it usually take to resolve?

Has this ever happened to anyone else? How long does it usually take to resolve?
I have been wanting to take PHIL 314 for soo long! I couldn't even get on the waitlist until 21st July coz it's reserved for CS majors. I think its unlikely considering the waitlist hasn't moved ever since I got on it couple of days ago, what do you all think?
I'm really conflicted about whether I should write the August LSAT or cancel it, and I'd appreciate some advice from people who've been in a similar situation.
For context, I've been studying on and off since December, but I only started taking prep seriously in June (about 2–3 hours a day).
I've taken 4 full practice tests so far. My highest score is a 163.
I have to admit that my PTs haven't been under perfect testing conditions. I have ADHD and pretty bad test anxiety, so it's taken me a long time to even work up the courage to take full practice tests. I was honestly scared to take them, and I'm still pretty terrified of the actual LSAT.
My goal is to score at least a 166+, although I know that's ambitious.
Here's where I'm struggling:
I'm still a full-time university student. I'm trying to maintain a high GPA, while also working part-time. One of the reasons my LSAT prep has been inconsistent is because I've been juggling classes, work, and everything else. I had to take classes in spring and summer to graduate early and I'll have another full course load this fall, so I'm skeptical about how much I can realistically improve between August and November.
I already plan on writing the November LSAT no matter what. My thought process was that I could write August mainly to get over my fear of the exam and gain experience with the real testing environment. If I completely bomb it, I could always cancel the score. Then I'd have a better idea of what to expect in November.
On the other hand, I'm also thinking about the bigger picture. If I don't get into law school this cycle, I'll be finished with my degree in December and could dedicate far more time to the LSAT while working. I'd likely rewrite in June or August 2027 and apply the following cycle.
One thing that gives me pause is that schools like the University of Alberta now state that they average LSAT attempts, and other schools seem to consider an applicant's testing history to some extent rather than looking only at the highest score. Because of that, I'm trying to be strategic about how many times I sit for the exam.
Would you write the August LSAT in my position, or cancel and focus entirely on November?
If you've struggled with severe LSAT anxiety, did writing the real exam help reduce your fear for future attempts?
How are canceled scores or multiple attempts actually viewed in admissions, especially in Canada?
Most people in my life are telling me to just write August and treat it as a learning experience, but I'm still on the fence.
I’m currently 7th on the waitlist for a summer class. The class starts on Monday, June 29, and the waitlist purges on July 2. When I joined the waitlist, I was 10th, and I've been moving up about one spot each day.
I've been a student for a while, and I've always managed to get into classes from the waitlist. The only difference this time is that I usually join the waitlist well before the semester starts. I'm feeling really anxious and paranoid about whether I'll get in. What do you guys think my chances are?
And if anyone reading this is thinking about dropping PHIL 399... please do it 😭
There is a lot of discussion about this on social media and I genuinely think IPL teams looked far better in the league's early years than they do today.
Back then, jerseys had a much cleaner and more premium look. Most teams had only 1–2 major sponsors, and they were often globally recognizable brands like Emirates, Nokia, Reebok, Vodafone, etc. The designs themselves felt sleek and minimal rather than overloaded with logos.
Now, despite the IPL being one of the richest and most valuable sports leagues in the world, many jerseys look like moving billboards. They have these ugly prints and designs for no reason. I am so sick of these brands like KEI cables, BKT whatever on my jerseys. They look so flashy and tacky, which is why I cant wear them in routine.
What I don't understand is, shouldn't the opposite have happened?
As the league has grown in popularity and financial strength, you'd expect teams to be able to take a more football-club approach to branding. Look at clubs like Arsenal, PSG, Barca, etc. They usually have one primary sponsor, a clean design, and a strong visual identity. The shirt itself becomes iconic and instantly recognizable.
The same applies to team branding. Some of the older IPL franchises had genuinely unique names, for example, Deccan Chargers, Kochi Tuskers, Delhi Daredevils.
Today it feels like every team name revolves around Kings, Super Kings, Super this, dooper that. Almost all of them have a lion/tiger as a mascot.
Many teams also share similar colour palettes, different shades of red and blue.
Am I the only one who feels this way? Or do others think IPL teams need a serious branding refresh?
Curious to hear what everyone else thinks.
I booked a call with a TRU admissions advisor and today I learned that TRU is changing how they calculate GPA starting this admissions cycle in fall.
Previously, they counted back the most recent 20 courses from the time of application. Under the new system, they will instead assess the last four semesters of full-time study. Spring/summer terms can count, but only if they meet the threshold for full-time status (the advisor indicated 3 courses would count, whereas 1–2 courses would not).
From my understanding, this means they look back at your most recent four full-time semesters, and if a part-time semester appears in between, they skip it and continue further back until they have four qualifying semesters. Depending on course load, this could mean fewer or more than 20 courses. Hope this helps.
Based on this criteria, I expect my admission GPA to be approximately 3.76/4.0 by the time I apply. I wrote the February LSAT and scored a 165. Can I consider TRU a safety or am I gonna be competitive but not a guaranteed A?
