Why do we have to live like this?
Western Tampere is slowly drowning in graffiti. Most council property (road signs, junction boxes) has been tagged. It is so 'normalized' that you walk past without noticing.
But the vandelism of private & business properties is even worse. This monstrosity has appeared recently. The houseowner will need to pay to have the concrete sandblasted & the entire side of the house repainted. The repaired wall will then look like a fresh canvas for a 'street artist' to decorate with a spray can.
What can we reasonably do to combat this?
