Katselin netistänkin jo tarjontaa, mutta ajattelin täältäkin kysyä onko suositteluja hyvistä vapaaehtoishommista Tampereella? Ammatiltani olen asiakaspalvelija ja yletän hyvin korkeille hyllyille :)

I am looking for any information regarding outdoor raves, dance parties, ad hoc soundsystems, forest parties, dancing on a beach? Or some ug raves? I’d appreciate any info, links, tips and such.

Oon muuttamassa opiskelujen perässä hervantaan ja haluaisin tietää että mihin siellä tarkalleen kannattaa muuttaa? Sain opiskelupaikan vasta nyt heinäkuun alussa, niin en varmaan kerkee saaha TOAS:in kautta asuntoa enää :(.

Minkälaista aluetta on esimerkiksi arkkitehdinkatu tai ahvenisjärventie? Missä päin hervantaa asuu eniten opiskeljoita??

Muutto edessä, muuttoilmoituksen tein etukäteen maanantaina. Tarvitsen kuitenkin pysäköintitunnuksen, mutta en sitä saa haettua, koska rekisterissä näkyy vielä nykyinen osoitteeni..

Nyt en sitten tiedä saanko haettua pysäköintitunnuksen vasta muuttopäivänä vai voiko tällasten rekisteritietojen siirtyminen kestää kauemmin. Ja jos saan haettua muuttopäivänä, ratkaistaanko hakemus heti automaattisesti, vai kestääkö siinä kauemmin?

En siis oikein tiedä miten saan autoni pysäköityä jos en saa muuttopäivänä pysäköintitunnusta haettua. Ilmeisesti on olemassa 5e/vrk vieraslupia, ja voisin varmaan ensihätään käyttää niitäkin, en tosin tiedä miten sen hakeminen toimii.

Olen muuttanut juuri Tampereelle ja haluaisin kysellä vinkkejä täälä asuvilta. Ilmianna sun lemppari rafla, baari, puoti, kauppa, puisto, lenkkipolku tai joku muu sun mielestä siisti mesta joka kannattaa tsekata :)

Sinimusta liike on aiheuttanut keskustelua Tampereella ja muualla Pirkanmaalla. Nyt sastamalalainen kaupunginvaltuutettu kehottaa boikotoimaan Häijään markkinoita, joille puolue on varannut kojupaikan.

Olen huomenna ajamassa roadtripillä Tampereelle, ja tulee vietettyä muutama yö Ranta-Tampellassa.

Eli auto pitäisi saada jonnekin pariksi päiväksi. Missä mahtaa olla ilmaisia P-paikkoja Tampereella? Mielellään sellaisia, jotka ei vaadi edes kiekkoa. Saa sitten rauhassa kulkea kaupungilla ilman stressiä parkkikiekon siirtelystä.

Ei haittaa, vaikka on kaukana Ranta-Tampellasta.

I'm 24 and have been living in Tampere for a while now, but I haven't really managed to build close friendships here, people I can actually hang out with in person.

I'm not blaming Finnish people at all, they're genuinely amazing, but I know the culture tends to be more reserved and private, which makes it harder to connect as a foreigner.

The tricky part for me is that I don't drink, so bars and the whole drinking culture isn't really my scene. My Finnish is also pretty basic, just greetings really, so that adds another barrier.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? How did you eventually break through and make real friends here? Any clubs, hobbies, events, or apps in Tampere that actually worked for you?

As the title says, I'm an undergraduate student from India and my paper has been accepted to a conference being held in Tampere during 2 weeks in September.

I've never been to European countries before and have yet to figure out stay and lodging.

Could somebody explain any important rules and social customs I should keep in mind. Anything I should avoid doing while there.

I would also like to understand how warm/ cold students and public are in general with outsiders ? Like if I asked for help would people be willing to help or should I plan everything before hand and try to interact as little as possible with others.

Another question, any affordable and safe lodging/ stay that people on this reddit would recommend? I'm a student and honestly budget is a problem.

Olisiko kenelläkään vinkkiä kiinalaisesta ravintolasta, josta saisi hyvin valkosipulista ruoka-annosta? Kaikki proteiinit käy, mutta toivoisin sellaista "hengitys löyhkää 50 metrin päähän" valkosipuliannosta.
