I’m a 16-year-old German exchange student currently living in Tampere, and I urgently need to find a new place to stay because I have to leave my current host family on October 25th.

I’m looking for affordable accommodation from the beginning of November until mid-June.

I’m open to:

• A room in a shared apartment
• Staying with a host family
• Renting a room or a small place
• Shorter arrangements covering just one or a few months

Even if you can only offer a place for part of this period, it would help me a lot while I look for something more permanent.

I’m already in Tampere and can meet in person if that’s easier. I’m also happy to provide more information about myself privately.

If you have any leads, know someone renting out a room, or have any suggestions, please let me know. Any help would mean a lot!

My name is Len Mattis Groß, I’m 16 years old and I’m an exchange student from Germany.
I’m already in Tampere and currently staying with a wonderful host family for a short time. Unfortunately, they can only host me temporarily, so I’m now looking for a host family from September until June.
I will be studying in Tampere and playing floorball with Koovee. Sports are a big part of my life, and I’m really excited to experience Finnish culture and become part of a local family.
I am responsible, respectful, easy to get along with, and always happy to help around the house. I have younger siblings, so I’m used to living in a family environment and get along well with both children and adults.
My parents will cover all costs related to my stay, so there will be no financial burden for the host family.
Since I’m already in Tampere, I’d be happy to meet in person first if you’d like to get to know me before making any decisions.

Hi everyone,

my name is Len, I am 16 years old and from Germany.

I am planning to spend the school year 2026–2027 in Tampere as an exchange student. I already have a school place and a floorball team (Koovee), but I am still searching for a host family.

I would describe myself as respectful, independent and easy-going. Floorball is a huge part of my life and one of the main reasons I want to come to Finland. I also started learning a bit of Finnish because I became very interested in the country over the last years.

Unfortunately, finding a host family has been much harder than expected, so I thought I would try here as well.

If anyone knows a family who could maybe help, or has ideas/advice, I would be extremely grateful.
