Requesting 50 usd for summer stay
I am a college student here in Ethiopia and we have been dismissed from campus. My family are in a desperate state and i feel like a burden going back to them. We lodge a single 3 by 4 cell and live 4 people in it. I would love to stay with them, of course, they are family after all, but i had a plan to study and do projects this two months and with the conditions here, i simply can not. Not to mention all the shouting in the neighbourhood and the heat from the oven. I also get depressive episodes from it all.
If a kind stranger spared me 50 bucks, i could rent a cell nearby for a month and it would feed me for about a fortnight. That would give me time to see if i can figure out things for the next month. 110 usd will get me through summer with no stress whatsoever and focus on my projects and studies. But i don't want to push my luck. I would be greatful for anything really, i just had to get that out. Thank you.
