Why can certain metals be used in the Metallic Arts?
I'm thinking of atium and lerasium in particular. Why can they be used in feruchemy and hemalurgy? Aren't those metals basically pure Investiture in physical form? How can you cram any more Investiture in?
I would have expected an atiummind to act like a metalmind that someone else has already filled up: you can't tap it, but there's no "room" left to store anything else. But that's clearly not the case, since atium can be used to store youth, and (purified) atium spikes can transfer any type of allomancy or feruchemy.
(Bonus: we know it's not because of electrum impurities in the atium, at least for hemalurgy, because the new hemalurgy table says atium needs to be refined further before it can be made into a spike.)
If I bought the metal plate edition of the Mistborn Adventure Game, would it be less favorable towards hemalurgy?
How in Jezerezeh's name do you pronounce Jezerezeh?
My husband is a devout Vorin and recently asked me to read to him. I'm told this is a big step in a relationship, so I want to make sure I do it right. But how in the Heralds' name do you pronounce these words?!
YEH-zuh-REH-zay? yuh-ZAIR-eh-zay? yeh-zeh-REH-zee? Why can't these Alethi just call him Yaezir like everyone else does? Why does everything have to be symmetrical here??
