How to restore/upcycle dolls with missing portions of face/feet

I got these gorgeous clowns yesterday and have been trying to think of what I can do to upcycle/repair them (if its hard to see in the first image, the second and third show the missing chunks of head and foot)
I want them to still be dolls, so I'm not looking for a total transformation. I was thinking of having flowers or mushrooms of paper/fabric 'sprouting' out of a hole. I am unsure of how to affix everything to not fall out of them. Does anyone have ideas?

How to restore/upcycle dolls with missing portions of face/feet

I got these two gorgeous clown dolls from a garage sale, but one has a huge chunk missing from its head and the other has a foot missing. (see 2nd and 3rd image)

I was thinking of using decorative flowers and a bit of epoxy resin to cover up the hole/make it look like flowers were sprouting out of the face, but I was wondering if anyone had specific ideas or advice/tutorials to repairing/upcycling dolls missing huge parts?

I don't have the missing pieces and I am interested in doing something new with them rather than just restoring their original appearance.

I also am not quite sure what I want to do with the missing foot... I could probably sew a new shoe or something and stuff it or something. Any ideas?
