Dealing with member distractions.

I'm part of a leadership team for a small league. We have a couple members who barely show up. When they do, they try to pressure our members into joining their other activities for other groups. Social media groups and other hobbies. They do this passive-aggressive comments in chats and posts. They say we need to show up for them.

Has anyone else dealt with something like this? How did you handle it? I've tried ignoring it. But they're not backing off.

WIBTA for asking Neighbor to split cost of Arborist

I want to start off by saying my spouse and I both work and we both have hobbies outside of the house. We live in a neighborhood that doesn't have and HOA. Last fall our neighbor came to my door and asked if we would let the gardening crew she uses clean my front yard. She manages rental properties and they take care of her yard for free as a way of maintaining their professional relationship. I admit, sometimes I get behind on yard work. But we live in a desert area and most of my front yard is landscaped with rocks. We have a couple hedges in front of the windows and a garden bed with a tree in it. That's all. Occasionally weeds poke through the rocks and I don't always deal with them quickly. So anyway, she asks if we'll let the crew clean our yard. I guess she didn't like the way it looked. I initially said no, but she insisted. I gave in, because hey Free, right? Well they pull the weeds and trim the tree back. My spouse instantly hated it. They said it had been cut back too much. Personally, I thought it looked alright and probably should have been. Cut back a long time ago. Cut to today. It's been a whole summer snd the tree looks odd. Instead of its usual leaves, I noticed what looks like mossy buds all over it. I took a Pic and fed it into Google. Answer comes back as a Mistletoe infestation. I was stupid and brushed my spouse off when they tried to tell me about it in spring. It's all over the upper branches now. WIBTA if I asked the neighbors to split the cost of treatment after I call an arborist? I can't prove anything. But the tree has been fine since before we bought the house. After her people cut it back, it's infested. I don't imagine gardeners clean and sterilize their tools between jobs. And then, how much do I ask to split it? It's my tree and the service was free. But now I may have to get it removed entirely. Help.
