How do you guys rate Bengaluru as an IT city today? Should I shift to hyderabad?
It's been 3 years in Bengaluru, I've worked in Gurugram, Chandigarh and this happens to be my first time in South India too.
When I came here in 2023, the city faced a massive surge of employees, companies started revoking work from home. I was married and the rent inflation was too much for even 1 BHK. I stayed in Whitefield and commuting was a headache.
I lost much of the day to poor infrastructure and traffic, things are better now than it was in 2023.
but personally before coming here I feared language and cultural problems but I didn't face any and Hindi worked everywhere. I didn't shift my company so I can't review about opportunities here. The cost of living here is high too. More than the cities I lived in the past.
The thing is I'm fed up with many things here that have more to do with me personally than the city itself.
How's Hyderabad in this aspect, is it any better?
