Hi everyone. We got the DC to Rzeppa driveshaft and am happy with the initial results. Now time to get some miles on the Design-Build-Go Grenadier. I did some highway driving and spirited back roads driving including some hard accelerations and deaccelerations. So far so good but need far more hours so going to get as many as I can to feel more confident.
In this video we review the stock Grenadier driveshaft and compare it to two that Sven has developed. We bought these to test and compare. I have driven the DC to DC and it was solid with no vibrations felt at any speeds or decelerations as others have reported. I have two customers with these installed. In talking with Sven, the next versions will have a grease nipple on the center balls so that is evolving. The DC to Rzeppa is going in my Grenadier this week to check that out as well as it is a less costly approach than the DC to DC version. I will be making further videos with these driveshafts as well so subscribe to the YouTube channel. Both are are custom built in France.
Here are some photos of our latest build. Added an Alu-cab Jerry can mounts on the Leitner sidekicks and then an Alu-cab tilting fridge slide on the Diabolical drawer. Coming out pretty nicely. Lots of fab work but worth it.
