Hi everyone, my daughter turns 16 this weekend, she wants to start driving then too but obviously the Transport office is closed. She has completed her PrepLs. Could we go in tomorrow and get her licence? I grew up in England so I’m very confused with it al over here 🫣 Any help much appreciated!
Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone might have some ideas.
My daughter is 15 nearly 16 in two weeks. She experienced bullying in high school and left in grade 8 and has left her with no social life since. We’ve tried a few homeschool meetups, but she just hasn’t clicked with the kids there. I hope this doesn’t come across badly at all, but she’s a pretty typical teen and just doesn’t really fit in with a lot of the homeschool crowd we’ve met so far. Her interests are: Dance, animals, 4wd, NRL, music (harry styles, one direction, Aussie bands like spacey jane)
She has met a 17yo boy through 4wd (absolutely nothing romantic between them) and seems to get along with him. He’s so kind to her but her father thinks he’s an idiot and won’t let her have any interaction with him 🤦♀️ I’m wondering what social groups etc are out there or where she can go to meet similar ages? I know churches run things for teens but she is not religious and I'm worried she might not get along well.

Hi, I’m looking for a new dance school for my 15yo girl. She is at a beginner/intermediate level and needs excellent training and a supportive environment to grow. Looking for a classical and contemporary focus. She is currently studying Intermediate Foundation ballet. She has 3 solos. Which studios from Caloundra-Maroochydore area are the best please? I am open to day programs as she is homeschooled. I am currently looking at Dance Edge, ABDS Kids, SCCOD, SJ Dance, Dance Energy. Please let me know anything you know about these schools!
