Anyone wondering what Bruce has been up to?
If you’ve been wondering what Bruce has been up to this is your post!
The past 2-3 weeks he’s been hanging out on Rice st for the most part. Tonight he’s sleeping on my neighbors chimney again. 3 days ago he sat outside of my house terrorizing me not allowing me to get out of my car. He guarded my driveway and I had to sit in my car for a good 30 minutes until he move along and decided it was acceptable for me to go inside🤣
I also found him 3 days ago watching over my chickens when the escaped into my neighbors yard. He didn’t want them for dinner. He just watched them. Of course I thanked him for his service of keeping my girls safe🤣
Overall he’s pretty well! We also had a chat yesterday and I asked him to please leave my house alone. I’m not sure how much he understood, but he hasn’t been guarding my house!😆
Sorry! No pics of Bruce and the chickens. I only had a video. (Don’t worry! my girls were behind a chain fence and he didn’t have interest in eating them anyway!)

Bruce
Hi everyone! In case anyone has been concerned- Bruce is alive and very well on Rice st (Bridge st neck)! The past couple of days he’s been hanging out on my street and sleeping on my neighbors roof.
Frankly, I’m not a huge fan of his presence because I have chickens that are a lot smaller than him and I’m not sure how hungry he is. My girls have a coop they stay in unless I’m out with them but he does make me a tad bit nervous😅
I wanted to ask- has anyone tried to call animal control? I know people have been feeding him, but I’m concerned about him because Bridge st neck isn’t the safest place for him and poor guy has no flock. I’m just wondering if there’s something I can do.
I can see Bruce from my window as I lay in bed so I know he’s just fine!

Should I get the Asics Nimbus 27 as a new runner? Is the 28 better? Help!!
Hi! I’m very new to running. I only started about a month and a half ago. I’m still trying to build up speed, distance and stamina so doing shorter runs (maybe 1-2 miles at most). Eventually I’d like to be long distance and do a marathon one day.
I’ve been looking at running shoes and the Asics Nimbus 27 really stuck out to me after I tried it on in a store. But now I’m seeing those are last years version and the “new upgraded” version is the nimbus 28. Would people mind telling me their opinions on the 27 versus the 28? I can’t find much on the topic. Additionally- are these good running shoes to start with? I do really like Asics as a brand.
Should I get the Nimbus 27? 28? Or skip the Nimbus all together and go with a different shoe?
I will say I tried on the Novablast 5 and I didn’t love the fit and thought they weren’t as comfortable as other shoes. I liked the Nimbus over Novablast because the tongue and lacing feel more secure. I also don’t like hokas. I’m not 100% set on Asics, but I would prefer them.
Any and all reviews, recommendations and tips are very appreciated!
