Can I replace all M1s in a pattern with lifted increases?
Hi, I'm a beginner starting on Florence Miller's Step by Step sweater, and I've decided I hate M1 increases. The pattern calls for M1R, M1L, M1RP, and M1LP. Would it work well if I do a 1:1 replacement of them with lifted increases? So a right lifted purl instead of a M1RP, left lifted instead of M1L, et cetera?
