Slipknot Demos & Live Shows
Hey everyone!!
I’m writing this post to see if anyone could possibly provide me with some info on some Slipknot demos and live shows. I’m starting to dive even deeper into their history and I’m interested in finding out more about pre-S/T Slipknot.
- Does a demo of “Eyeless” exist? It seems like that song came out of nowhere. No preexisting riffs, no live video of the song in 1998 or before. It seems like that song is an anomaly.
- Did Slipknot ever demo “Slipknot/Gently” during the pre-production of S/T? Same thing with “Windows”, “Carve”, “Coleslaw”, etc.
- Are there any other live recordings of Slipknot in 1998? I’m aware of the Ranch Bowl show but, is there any more footage from that year?
- Is there any actual live footage of Clown wearing the “Killer Klowns From Outer Space” mask over his Vintage West G? I’ve seen the photo of Clown wearing the mask but, I’m curious to see if there’s actual footage out there of it.
- How come more pieces of media from MFKR/pre Self Titled haven’t been released? I know that this is a very redundant question so I apologize for that. However, I don’t quite understand the legality aspect of why more demos/live recordings haven’t surfaced.
