Stent Removal Today!!

Today’s the DAY!! The sun is shining, the birds are singing! I get to evict these god awful things from my nose. Eating has been so miserable; every time I swallow the pressure builds in my head. I just want to eat pasta in peace!!!

After your stent removal, how long did it take until you could eat relatively normally again?

EDIT: thanks everyone!! Stent removal wasn’t bad at all and relief came INSTANTLY. I feel pretty much normal as long as I don’t bump my nose :)

Needing hope

Hey everyone, Day 4 post op from septoplasty with turbinate reduction. Don’t have major pain or other issues, but finding that the little things are freaking me out.

I’m still needing a drip pad under my nose, but most people I see stop bleeding within the first 3 days so kind of freaking out about that. Is it okay I’m still discharging/ bleeding? It’s not a ton.

I absolutely HATE changing the drip pad and saline rinse. I’ve only been able to make myself do it twice a day. It really freaks me out and I hate seeing the blood. Any advice here??

Really just needing to know it gets better from here and that my experience is normal.
