Wheel choice

Hey all ,

I have a 2001 mustang cobra. Procharged, tr3650 swap and 4.10 gears. (300 kw on dyno) .Stock suspension tho.

I have those American racing 18 inch wheels on it currently (255 front, 285 rear). I got my hands on some s550 19 inch rspec wheels (255 front and 275 rear). Does anyone that has s550 wheels on their new edge advise on what changes they saw . And also I’m wondering if putting bigger wheels on the car will make any parts wear out faster.

Thanks all

Hey all ,

I really appreciated the help I got last time with the suggestions of a trans swap for my 2001 cobra. I was able to find the transmission plaq and I was wondering if anyone can tell me what it is : YR33 700AA C1211,TSET 1386AC. There is a few more numbers but they are way too faded to read. I tried to google it and chat gpt but ai has never heard of it and google gave me conflicting information.

Thanks in advance

Hey,

I have a 2001 mustang cobra. As far as I know prior to feb this year, the car has done 235kms in 10 ish years. I bough it in feb and have been driving it regularly since, even a few smaller trips here and there. I have been doing maintained on the car (oil, filter, supercharger oil, …..) . I was doing a random check this afternoon when I noticed that my coolant is about a cm above the bottom of the coolant tank, so way way below the “fill coolant “line on the tank. The car hasn’t overheated since I owned it and I have never noticed a puddle or anything under the car. The temp gauge never goes above half and the coolant warning light has never come on, that’s why I haven’t checked the coolant in my ownership. My questions are 1. Could I have done some damage to my car, 2. Could I have a blown headgasket and 3. Am I okay to take the car to work tomorrow and get more coolant after work .

Thanks in advance
