Ellis Island & Statute of Liberty Question

Hey Everyone,

I had a quick question concerning the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. I'm headed there this Thursday for a work trip and already know they have separate cancellation stamps, as well as separate regional stamps (stickers).

Does anyone know if they have two separate park brochures as well? I (like many others here I suspect) like to collect the park brochures in addition to the stamps/stickers in my passport book. I see online that at least at one point in time there was a joint brochure, but I don't know if it's outdated.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Out of Space in Passport

Hey everyone,

Curious about ideas. I use the pocket edition of the National park passport. Ran out of space, got expansion pages, used all of them. Now the passport is a bit stuffed, getting to the point that it’s a little difficult to turn the pages bc there’s so much pressing against the spiral binding.

Weighing my options of either buying a 2nd pocket edition, or getting the larger collectors edition.

Curious as to thoughts between buying a 2nd book vs upgrading to the collectors edition. And if you personally would do the upgrade, I’d be curious what you think would be the best way to transfer existing stamps and stickers over.

Didn’t think I’d run out of space in 2 years but I was bit by the NPS bug once collecting got involved. Thanks everyone!

Hi everyone, I see on the Park's website that a shuttle ticket will be needed to go to Logan Pass this year. Will tickets be needed to go to Logan Pass only or to use the shuttle system at all.

A few of my hikes are best served with the shuttle but they are not all from Logan Pass, only 2 are. Should I be shooting for shuttle tickets on the 2 days I hope to leave from Logan pass or for everyday I'm expecting to use the shuttle.

Thanks!
