Photographer Website: Design & UX Feedback/Suggestions.
Is this a good place to get some design feedback on a WordPress website?
I'm looking for design and UX feedback on the desktop version of my architecture photography website.
It's built using Astra and Spectra Pro, and I'm aiming for a premium, minimalist feel that appeals to architects, builders, developers and interior designers.
I'd really appreciate any suggestions on improving the visual design or hierarchy, particularly in these areas:
- Services section – This feels the weakest part of the site. The cards feel flat and lack contrast or visual impact. I've experimented with different layouts, but I think the whole section is missing a stronger design concept.
- Contact section – It starts to lose visual separation from the FAQ above. I'd like to keep the subtle "window light" background image, but create a cleaner transition and stronger hierarchy.
- Footer – Functional, but visually underwhelming. I'd love ideas that suit the minimalist style of the rest of the site.
- About section – Probably the strongest of these four, but I still feel it could be refined.
I'm not looking for SEO or marketing advice at this stage. I'm really interested in improving the visual design and user experience.
If you have examples of websites or sections you think do this particularly well, I'd love to see them.
