Fallen Academy made me want to eat my own shoe.

It's genuinely the worst book I've ever read, but like a horrible car crash, I just can't look away!

Brielle is the definition of a Mary Sue, which normally I don't mind, but she has literally no defining personality traits outside of "I like this donut place" and "this guy is hot." What she lacks in any personality, she "makes up for" by being the specialest person to ever exist in history. To avoid spoilers, that's all I'll say about her special powers.

Oh! And this book is full of terrible writing, even getting borderline racist at times. The "token black girl" is the only character in the whole book to have her race mentioned, and acts like the sassy black woman stereotype; being aggressive, rowdy and boy-crazy. No other black characters are in the book so far.

Another issue I have is Leia Stone's odd trend with bad naming. "Angel city" and "Demon city" are the two most important locations in the story (both in California btw, which begs the question about if the whole war with heaven and hell is in places other than california) I've noticed this "noun city" nonsense in her other books. Total lack of creativity in the name. Come on now, surely you can come up with something better than Demon City.

The overusage of "frick" and "freaking" in this book is MADDENING. They say fuck exactly once, I counted. I would assume this is due to the book being rated Teen, therefore only allowed one Fuck, but jesus... Just don't pepper your sentence with fuck's sad cousin.

All in all, if you like Mary Sues to a ridiculous degree, this book is for you.

Male vs Female psychic in 7th Dragon 2020

Like they actually made a very good character design for the male psychic, but for the lady? Not one thing about her design looks even REMOTELY psychic. That is a hooker!

I designed Rainbow's outfit with fairy kei in mind, but I feel like it's missing the 80s inspiration (save for maybe the Legwarmers and silhouette?) Still very proud of my design tho, whatever style she's wearing!
