Title: Best way to build a high-quality 4K REMUX library for Infuse without constantly downloading/uploading huge files?

I’ve been trying to find the easiest way to watch my favourite movies in the best quality possible, while still using my Apple TV for playback/color handling.

I ended up getting Infuse (an Apple TV media player that can play MKV/REMUX files from network or cloud storage).

I currently have MKV 4K Blu-ray REMUXes of 2–3 of my favourite movies, and once everything is set up, the experience is pretty much exactly what I want.

Initially I tried SMB from my Mac → Infuse, but I didn’t really like it. I had to keep my Mac running whenever I wanted to watch something, and even then I experienced some lag/buffering.

I then tried putting the files on Google Drive and connecting Google Drive to Infuse, and honestly I found this much simpler and more reliable.

The problem is the process of actually getting movies into my Drive.

Right now it basically goes:

Find movie → navigate download site/ads → download 50–80GB REMUX to Mac (2–3 hours) → upload it to Google Drive (another 2–2.5 hours) → finally watch through Infuse

It works, but doing this for every movie is becoming incredibly time-consuming.

My eventual goal is simple: open Infuse on my Apple TV, have a large library of my favourite movies with artwork/metadata, scroll through it, choose something and immediately start watching it in the highest quality available.

My absolute dream scenario would be some kind of legal paid service/account with a huge library of full-quality movie files already hosted remotely. It doesn’t necessarily have to be Google Drive. If there were a service where I could pay for access to the movies and simply connect the storage/library to Infuse and stream them, that would be amazing. Does anything like this actually exist?

If not, my second option would be buying movies/getting authorized REMUX-quality files elsewhere and finding a way to transfer them directly from the source to Google Drive, without routing 50–80GB through my Mac first.

Basically:

Source → Google Drive → Infuse

instead of:

Source → download to Mac → upload from Mac → Google Drive → Infuse

I’m completely fine paying for the movies, storage and/or a subscription. My priority is maximum video quality + convenience. I just want to eliminate the hours of downloading and re-uploading every movie.

Has anyone built a setup like this? What would you recommend?
