[Dave Feschuk] Why Morgan Rielly is glad the Maple Leafs didn’t trade him after all

“It’s been a great off-season,” Rielly said. “I think with some early talks about my future, and then coming home from (representing Canada at the world championship) and just kind of refocusing, I’ve just been in a good place. My training has been really good, so I’m feeling really confident.

“I feel nervous. I feel excited, motivated. I just try not to take being a Leaf for granted. This is a great market to play in, a great place to live. Like I said, this is home now. To be a part of this team means a lot to me.”

[leafschronicle] Auston Matthews has been spending his offseason in AZ with sports chiropractor, Shawn Robek. Robek is known for helping athletes with back pain. He looks to be in great shape and is gearing up for the start of the season, with the first pre season games beginning on September 19th!

Looking for a good spot to skip rocks

Was something I used to love doing as a kid but am having a hard time finding somewhere with a little beach area that is not private property that also has a bunch of flat enough rocks to skip with.

I want to take my daughter out to throw rocks and skip them and stuff where we won't get in trouble. Any good suggestions?

ATV vs SxS in NB.

Trying to decide and am leaning towards SxS mostly so my family can come out. I am just wondering how the trails are for SxS vs ATV? I have never owned anything so ignorant of it all.

I guess my concern is a lack of trails for SxS as most are ATV?

We built a young skilled fast team and ended up against the best teams in the league in round 1 every year.

Then we were told no no no that’s not how you win look at the Blues look at the Panthers and slowly turned into an old slow grind team.

And now all we hear is how young fast skill teams are how you win.
