First time making a Cherry Pie from scratch 🍒

Hi! This is my first post here. I like baking recreationally and for holidays/birthdays. I normally like to do cakes and cupcakes. I have a family birthday this weekend and a cherry pie was requested. I know it's not the neatest job,but I'm looking forward to trying it and making other fruit pies.🥧

I also struggled to find tart cherries, so I used sweet ones and tweaked the recipe to cut down on the added sugar, and added lemon juice.

I was inspired by an earlier post to make a Neil Breen for my own island. The first thing he did on the island was instantly fall in love with a pretty Mii half his age.
