I have a page that compares my product with several of the competition. The page was written to rank for the [Best of X] keyword and query. However, Google ranks it for the [X Alternative], for when someone is looking for an alternative to one of my competitors.

I figured since it's ranking way better for the alternative query, I can update it to match that query better (title, metas, content, changing it into a guide for migrating from other tools) and create a new post that deals with the Best... query with a comprehensive researched review.

Will updating the original page like that hurt its ranking? Since it's already on page 1 serp I don't want to mess with it, but because it's title is Best ... it gets little clicks. TIA

I was hired by a company to manage their blog. They have a SaaS that is a sort of PKM tool. They want to do everything with AI. from keyword research, to outlining the blogs to writing the blog, doing the internal linking, SEO optimization everything.

They've asked me basically become an AI prompter for their content pipeline. I'm really anxious about this cause I don't think it will work and they are so engulfed in AI hype that they can't understand anything I say.

- Has anyone had similar experience?
- Have you tried anything similar to this?
- Will it create consistent organic traffic?
- What do you suggest for me to do to improve this process?

I've been asked to review and modify the blog content of a website that sells plugins. Their blog as a right mess. They ahve nearly 400 posts, no pillar or cluster, blogs that have not been updated since the dinasaurs roamed the earth and they get almost no conversion from their blogs. Few of their blogs get good ranks on SERP but they are totally unrelated to their product. How would you tackle this behemouth, I'm a newcomer to content marketing and SEO and feel overwhelmed.
Edit: forgot to mentoin this, but their best marketing channel seems to be referal traffic and organic search for their business.
