i saw a pattern and i want to run it by you guys and see if there’s something there. i noticed that the major monotheistic religions all originate in places with an absence of other primates (besides human), whereas the other non monotheistic religions originate in places that do have other primates such as monkeys and apes. is this due to the fact that with these non monotheistic religions they see themselves in the monkeys and so when the religion is founded there is less of a separation between humans and other animals? because i’ve noticed in the monotheistic religions there is often a feeling that humans are superior to other animals or that we are set apart from them by god in someway. the other religions seem to see humans more as part of the animal world than separate from it from what i’ve noticed.

obviously this wouldn’t be like the entire reason between monotheism and non monotheistic religions there are many.

there’s also some edge cases with polytheism like in egypt where they held baboons to a very high regard but they were never native to egypt so idk if that means anything

i’m pretty much new to all of this but i heard about it online and im really interested in getting into a decentralized network.

my question is is there like a megathread or video or something i can look at to get like a comprehensive overview of how to get into it and like how to get everything working?

i want to get a tattoo of the word “parrhesia” because i really like the definition and i want to try to like incorporate it into my daily life

my question is would that be like a form of cultural appropriation as i am not greek nor do i have any real relation to greece
