


Not gonna lie, Chan in the 1995 Film was the bravest soul and I can respect that.
Like...Chan is nowhere near Liu Kang's level of skill. Hell, I don't think he would even fare well in the tournament whatsoever against the numerous fodder. If he was in that first fight in the tournament, he'd likely be eaten alive by The Machine.
But dude stepped up for Earthrealm when his brother got cold feet and never resented him for it. A good soul that was risking his life for everyone because there was no one else as far as he saw it.
But not gonna lie, that beatdown was insane.
edit: To clarify, I'm not talking about this one...Unfortunate encounter with Shang Tsung. Liu and Chan's grandfather explained when Liu left, Chan began training to take his place in the tournament. As shown, Chan wasn't a bad fighter...However he ain't Mortal Kombat levels of a good fighter. But instead of being mad at Liu for leaving, Chan stepped up as the representative.
