Favorite era of Mortal Kombat?

Credits in the image + I kind of don’t agree with MK vs DC being in the 3D era. I would put it with Reboot Era because it doesn’t play like the rest plus some MK9 character designs are inspired by some of the designs here

You have to choose between one of three of these games to play forever til death if you ever want to play MK ever again. Which are you choosing?

Mortal Kombat 2 is still the number one most viewed movie on HBO Max globally. It has been a full month since it's HBO Max debut.

Mortal Kombat 2 debuted on July 24th, 2026 and took the number one spot on HBO Max globally. Additionally, Mortal Kombat (2021) took the number 2 spot for a week. Despite it having been a full month, as of August 20th, 2026, Mortal Kombat 2 is still the most watched movie on HBO Max globally.

This is excellent streaming success. Hopefully it's enough to convince them to greenlight the third movie. This just further proves it's a streaming juggernaut. To this day Mortal Kombat (2021) holds the record for the biggest HBO Max weekend opening ever. We don't know the exact numbers for Mortal Kombat 2 yet, but it's safe to say it did very well on streaming. I personally think they should just make a tv show already lol. It would do incredibly well. A third movie to wrap up the trilogy as well would be awesome.

As a professional bisexual, here's what I think are the hottest looks of every major character in Mortal Kombat 👀

I know I know I didn't add EVERYBODY totally but my principle was to find the hottest available looks in-game/canon for every character that has had more than one or two appearances in the franchise games. Sorry to the revenant bangers out there, I only found Nightwolf hot asf in his dark revenant form. Also about Triborg, yes. Hear me the fuck out on ALL of them 🤤 the cyborgs looked their sexiest in MKX.

Edit: oh my god i didnt realize i put Kung Lao TWICE in the same pic and takeda once more in the other collage 💀💀 you can definitely diss me for that in the comments

What do you think the cyborgs look without their armor

This is what I imagine they look like without their helmet/faceplate since I'm pretty sure their bolted or welded to the skull

No bro like I genuinely love fighting bosses that are programmed to flawless block every single attack I throw and then have hyper armor so they can just throw attacks right in the middle of my strings

I mean just pinnacle game design

Favorite design for some of the ninja characters

Here's some of my favorite designs for characters who started out as palette swaps

  1. Scorpion his mk11 design is probably my favorite it's simplistic yet effective I feel like alot of Scorpion's designs feel to busy what I like about his mk11 design it that it kinda looks like a modernized version of the mk2 ninja look although his mkx default is a close second

  2. Sub-Zero his mk deception design is my favorite shredder-zero goes hard but his mkx default is probably my 2nd favorite Sub-Zero design

  3. Reptile I think his Shaolin Monks design is my favorite it's the perfect blend of ninja and lizard imo but I also like his mkx look with the bone armor

  4. Smoke my favorite ninja and favorite character in the franchise my favorite look for him has to be his mk9 alt I just love this design it looks really cool imo with his default in mk9 being a close second

  5. Kitana her mkx design is probably my favorite I just like the way it looks and I think it fits her character I also really like her her tournament outfit in that game which imo is kind of like a better version of her mk9 design

  6. Mileena putting the whole lips vs no lips debate aside personally I like both no lips and lips Mileena I think both mouth designs look good and work depending on how you want to handle the character but all that aside I just like the outfit in general I also like the messy hair it really fits her tbh

  7. Ermac his mk9 alt is definitely my favorite look for him with his mk11 design being a close second

  8. Noob Saibot his mk9 default is definitely my favorite look for Noob but I also really like his mk11 design

  9. Rain I his mk9 design is his best look with his mkx look being a close second

  10. Sektor I really like his mk11 design and his mk9 look but I still feel like the look of the cyber lin kuei is yet to be perfected in the nrs games I don't know it feels like every design the cyborgs look like there's something missing maybe it's the ninja loincloth that they had in mk3 I kinda want that design aspect to return to help re-establish the idea that these are cyborg ninjas

Bring back Kreate-A-Fighter in the next MK

Still waiting for Kreate-A-Fighter to return

Making your own fighter in Armageddon was one of the best features the series ever had Give us that again in MK13/Mk2/the next game customization moves the works

And while we’re at it, bring back Deception Style Konquest mode too Exploring that open world completing missions and unlocking secrets added so much depth to the singleplayer experience

Who else wants this?

Well HOLY 💩!!! IT'S LEGIT!!! It's the real Shao Kahn popcorn bucket!!

I took the chance of bidding on this on eBay two weeks ago and won. I paid $47 total including shipping. I thought it was gonna be a shitty fake 3D job like my last purchase off Walmart and I can't believe it's the real deal!!! I finally got it!!!!

Best scene in the movie but...

Would love it if it was more "earned"

Feels like Scorpion was just killing time in hell and then thought "now would be a cool time to appear"

I know I know. Its a video game martial arts movie but still. This bit was great, could have been fantastic

Maybe something could have been set up like when Sub Zero's character said Scorpion's name whilst holding his spear head thing then it summons him from hell?

Some kinda silly rule set up would have made the payoff better
