Yes my snaps were recorded. This is creepy right?

so initially I joined this discord server to play among us a while back. A long while back tbh. The server wasn't huge just like 15 or so people. There was this one dude lets call him Bis'rondu, he turned out to be a coworker. I used to hangout on vc in this server a lot and then at one point some of us decided to exchange snaps and make a snap group. I was in it too and after a while he added me too. I didn't think much of it, sometimes we talked in dms and he seemed fine, he didn't come across creepy or like anything weird like that at all.

Yeah bro seemed normal but like a week or two later;well let's say 13 days later I just kept running into Bis'Rondu every single day for a week. I was on leave those days so I was constantly going out with friends and family to make up for the times I've been staying indoors after work. Tbh I am bit of a homebody myself (saying this to the people here reading that are homebodies) Last time we ran into each other that week I just told my cousin jokingly about it and she went on to say something along the lines "so you added this dude on snap and he just kept popping up everyday? are you sure he isnt just checking your location?" so the thought dawned on me ever since she said it but I thought it can't be that deep but either ways I just decided to turn off my location that night. Usually I never had to worry about it but I just wanted to stop feeling weird about it ever since my cousin brought it up. The funny thing is I didn't run into him for a month outside of work ever since then but I just told myself that its probably just a coincidence. That I was just more outgoing during my leave. We still talked here and there more online but still didn't really detect anything weird from the guy so I just let it be.

I ended up changing jobs you could call it natural progression in the maldives worksphere and I heard that the dude got a girlfriend so I didn't hear much from during the 2 or 3 months that he was seeing this girl but then he just suddenly started getting chatty, back then i guess they broke up which my friend who still works at my old work place decided to spill the tea about. But yeah there was nothing to worry about until now. I wake up today and check my snap. Bis'Rondu has screenrecorded my stuff for the past 3 days??? like umm what?? He even started snapping a lot after the last time he recorded. Just normal snaps of scenery and stuff, nothing really eventful. Im guessing he realised that his screenrecording is being informed to me.

So I look it up and apparently android phones used to be able to screenrecord on snapchat without letting people know and recently there was an update that patched that and I'm now wondering for how long he has been screenrecording me.

Am I being paranoid for no reason? Am I crazy? This whole thing is weird right? Im not just overthinking this? What do you people think?
